You can count on us
As a law firm with more than 150 lawyers, notaries and tax advisors, ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN offers legal advice in all relevant business locations.
We are one of the leading law firms in Germany with offices in Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Leer and Dresden and are internationally recognised market leaders in the areas of real estate, transportation/aviation/logistics and maritime industry. We are also continuously growing in the energy, insurance, technology/media and sports law sectors.
Our legal practice areas include labour/employment, Insurance, corporate/m&a, banking & finance, intellectual property, IT, commercial, public and antitrust. We also have a tax team and a notary's office.
Due to our memberships in global legal networks (e.g. Interlaw, Meritas, Legal Netlink Alliance) as well as worldwide contacts to specialised law firms, we are also a reliable partner for international clients.
We are in Law
ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN represents a 90 year old history of a dynamic and future oriented working approach. With over 150 enthusiastic lawyers, some of them with international awards, and with our excellent notary office and tax law team, we are now one of the most important full-service business law firms in Germany.
The global pandemic at the beginning of the 2020s accelerated the necessary change. This also effects us – both as a responsible employer and as a provider of progressive legal services. We are aiming to be digital, faster and sustainable in all of our actions.
As an “employer in transition”, we discuss with our staff what the “law firm of the future” should look like. At the same time, we aim to strengthen our digital competence in our 18 law segments.
This means, for example, that we can react quicker to enquiries and that we also have greater opportunities for forward-looking consultation because we can identify topics for the future at an earlier stage.
In addition, we are constantly working on new areas of consulting, such as ESG (environmental, social, governance) and aim to underline our claim to be sustainable both internally and externally.
Our corporate culture of flat hierarchies, open doors and respectful and unprejudiced relationships is part of our history. ASD always was – and still is – open-minded and future-oriented. We want to strengthen this approach in our transformation process.
Open by nature
We stand in a long tradition. In the era of steam-powered shipping we already advised shipping companies, shipyards, importers and exporters, and we were recognised as specialists for shipping, transport and insurance law. Today we are among the leading national and international law firms for the maritime industry, transportation, aviation & logistics. In the real estate segment we also embraced both tradition and modernity at an early stage, and we have long been one of the leaders in Germany and Europe.
The transformation to a large and modern full-service commercial law firm, which now covers 18 areas of law, was completed by the merger of three medium-sized law firms: Dabelstein & Passehl, Hamburg (founded in 1930), Arnecke Siebold, Frankfurt (founded in 1995) and Sibeth, Munich (founded in 2005).
Our legal services now cover topics such as employment law, corporate, finance, M&A, IP, IT, commercial, public law and antitrust law. We also have a tax law team and a notary office with locations in Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, Leer & Dresden.
Our teams are inter-disciplinary, serve different segments of commerce and industry and are very well networked. With our long-standing membership of exclusive law firm networks, such as Interlaw and Meritas, we are a reliable partner for both national and international clients in all relevant areas of law.
Collaborative, communicative, open minded
At ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN we maintain short communication channels and shallow hierarchies. Our three managing partners are supported by four specialist departments (Finance, Marketing/Business Development, Human Resources and IT) and the office managers in the individual locations.
