SHIPPING LAW AND MARINE INSURANCE SCHOLARSHIP 2023
Shipping and marine insurance are international, and the markets are growing increasingly interconnected. Despite modern means of communication, we consider personal contact with our colleagues as an essential foundation for advising our clients. We take it for granted that we have a close network of specialized lawyers around the globe. Based on our experience, foreign corresponding lawyers can best represent the interests of our clients when they are familiar with the structures in Germany.
For this reason, we organize the ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN Shipping & Marine Insurance Scholarship annually. As part of this program, we invite young foreign lawyers to participate in multi-week practical seminars.
Together with clients who, like us, are dedicated to the exchange of experiences and the further education of young people, we provide an introduction and an overview of everything that defines shipping, transportation, and insurance in Germany, both in theory and practice. This includes bills of lading and freight contracts, general average and salvage, forwarding and storage, shipbuilding and repairs, as well as the entire range of related insurances. Participation is free of charge.
