Thomas Hertl appointed to the Right of Publicity Committee of INTA

Thomas Hertl has been appointed to the Right of Publicity Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA) for the 2022–2023 term.

The committee develops and advocates the Association’s policy regarding the right of publicity.

It will monitor developments in treaties, case law, legislation and implementation in various jurisdictions, complete analyses and propose policy recommendations to the Board.

Work includes report and submission writing, interaction with right of publicity organizations, and advocacy in conjunction with relevant INTA committees and staff.

INTA’s committee volunteers drive the initiatives and programs of the Association, and their active participation is vital to its success.

This year, more than 3,900 member volunteers applied to serve on INTA https://www.inta.org/ committees. Thomas Hertl´s appointment is effective beginning January 1, 2022 and will conclude on December 31, 2023.
