DIGITAL SOLUTIONS GmbH, a provider of legal tech solutions, and ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN, a leading full-service law firm in the German legal market, have entered into a strategic partnership with Witnium Technologies, setting new standards in the legal tech industry.
Through this collaboration, Witnium’s innovative Digital Witness technology is being introduced into the portfolios of ASD. DIGITAL SOLUTIONS and ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN, and is now available to the clients and mandates of both companies. The Digital Witness app was developed to revolutionize the validation of evidence and verification of data provenance through the use of cutting-edge blockchain and AI technologies.
The “ASD Digital Witness” app runs on iOS and Android, but can also be controlled via a web browser on a PC, and is provided exclusively to customers. The application is incredibly simple to use: Users take pictures, videos or scans of the objects or situations they want to securely document with their smartphones or upload them via the browser as usual. The app automatically generates detailed information, descriptions and tags for all files using AI, and also recognizes if photos contain barcodes, websites or phone numbers. Furthermore, it reads all text within images and videos, transcribes it, and provides the location and address at the time of data capture. Based on this information, the “Digital Witness” is activated and confirms all captured data – from upload to analysis – by recording it on a blockchain. By creating this verifiable and immutable “digital witness” for every collected data element, the technology offers a new level of transparency and integrity that can be applied in a variety of legal scenarios. The uniqueness of the technology lies in the fact that one no longer has to rely on the person collecting the information. Instead, the authenticity and originality of the information can be proven using technology that guarantees transparency and impartiality at every step. The information thus created and secured can be managed via a browser application and compiled into PDF files, the so-called “Evidence Binders”.
