Dr. Sebastian Jungermann joins ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN from Arnold & Porter


Frankfurt, 25 January 2021 – Renowned German antitrust lawyer Dr. Sebastian Jungermann will join ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN on 1 February 2021 and strengthen the antitrust practice at ASD’s Frankfurt office as an equity partner.

Jungermann advises national and international companies as well as private individuals in complex antitrust cases, merger control proceedings, transactions and litigation in the field of antitrust and corporate law, as well as in compliance and US matters.

Sebastian began his career at Linklaters in 2000 and moved to Kaye Scholer’s newly opened Frankfurt office in 2002. There he worked at Kaye Scholer’s New York headquarters in 2004 and was promoted to partner in 2009. Arnold & Porter and Kaye Scholer merged in 2017.

On 31 March this year, the US law firm will close its German office in Frankfurt.

Jungermann recently advised, among others, the Safran Group on the engine joint venture with Boeing, AstraZeneca on Covid 19 vaccine supply contracts, Aryzta in antitrust damages proceedings against flour producers and truck manufacturers, ZF TRW in international antitrust proceedings, as well as the Sodexo Group and Mitsui OSK Lines.

In the future, ASD’s antitrust practice will comprise of 9 lawyers at the Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich offices. Its advisory services cover all relevant areas of German and EU antitrust law.
