ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN remains successful in 2019

Frankfurt am Main, 03 Feb 2020 – Numerous new clients, projects and awards made 2019 an extremely successful business year for ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN, in addition to strong growth in turnover and a significant increase in profits. With a rapidly growing team, 2020 is expected to continue as dynamically and promisingly as it ended in 2019.  

In 2019, ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN generated around EUR 42.5 million in its 12 legal practice areas and was thus able to achieve growth of more than 12% in comparison with the previous year. The profit increased by more than 20%. The turnover per professional (UBT) increased by more than 7% in 2018/2019.

24 new professionals were hired. In addition to 3 new equity partners, ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN promoted 10 senior associates from its own ranks to salary partners or counsel and 3 associates to senior associates.

For the management trio, consisting of Dr Marco Remiorz, Jan Wunschel and Dr Wolfgang Scholl, the focus of the past financial year was on the merger of the 6 German offices and the further development of the 12 competence fields.

“Following our last merger in 2018, we restructured our business services in 2019 and took them to a new level,” says Dr Marco Remiorz, commenting on the firm’s positive development. Dr Wolfgang Scholl adds: “We have achieved so much in the first year after the merger, but we must continue to work hard to build on this success”. Jan Wunschel is pleased that the Real Estate, Transportation/Aviation/Logistics and Maritime Industry and Insurance sectors were again able to increase their revenues in 2019, but also points out that the other legal departments also contributed a significant part to the success of the financial year.
